Chinese papers slammed Jack Neo’s 3 minutes conference as insincere.

Jack Neo’s three minutes media conference this morning was criticized by both Singapore major Chinese afternoon newspapers, Lianhe Wanbao and Shin Min Daily, for being theatrical and lack of sincerity.

Jack Neo’s held a press conference this morning at an auditorium in Scorpio East Building on Tai Sing Avenue supposing to address the media and general public about his infidelity but the media conference fell short and ended with a dramatic fainting of his wife Irene Kng as she was about to leave the conference.

Neo admitted wrong doings but no apology

The whole conference lasted only three minutes with Jack Neo admitting his wrong doings but did not apologized or explained how he intended to settle his relationship with the 22 year model Wendy Chong about their two years affairs.

“Good morning, thank you for coming. We had a very rough time during the past week. This whole affair was caused by me.  It was entirely my fault and had nothing to do with anyone. Today, I felt that I am blessed because my wife has forgiven me.  (sob) My wife has endured the pains that many other wives would not be able to handled and still forgive me.. (sob) She told me she don’t know hold to handle the media and wish this will be the last time we have to talk to the media. Please give us a chance (covered face and cried)” Neo’s only statement during the conference. 

 “Hello everybody, I have never learned how to handle this type of situation.  I can only say one word, which is I love Jack, I love our marriage, I love my family.  I am already hurt, please give me a break. (sob)…What I need most now is for your support and encouragement. I really need your blessings.. Thank you” said Irene at the conference.

Those attended the conference felt that the conference was very theatrical as if the conference was a directed drama with Madam Kng fainted at the end. A short scuffle broke out with some reporters and photographers as Neo was leaving while supporting Irene whom had fainted. Neo was seen agitated and shouting “move away!” when surrounded. One member of the J-Team artistes, John Cheng (Ah Nan) who was also present, yelled at photographers to back off.

Netizens criticized

Netizens whom saw the conference video posted on omy website criticized the conference as staged drama:
“His wife said she is not an artiste, not an actress, but they are very good at acting! Can win Oscar awards! What a drama!” commented .

“The conference is so short, poor Madam Kng cried until almost fainted. Why did she have to go to the conference?  Looks like Jack Neo had again smartly used her?” wrote .

“It is not surprising for a wife that has a lecherous husband, to have fainted during the media conference. But if this is yet another of Neo’s planned show then it would not be very nice” commented .
